The RFC Arsenal Soccer Team Raising Funds
While some teams are sitting out their league season and only playing for their high school teams, the RFC Arsenal continue to prepare for WAGS play and High School and top tournaments across the nation. In order to afford this the girls need to raise funds to help pay for the expenses of these tournaments. In the past they partook of bake sales and car washes, even concert ticket sales to area venues. The exciting news is this time they are fortunate to have a stay at the beach for a lucky person who donates to the team between now and the end of the month. Look for the button on the right side of the page for the opportunity to donate in increments of $20 or $50 or the second button where you may write in your own amount.
TEAM PLAYS AT ORANGE CRUSH
Over the winter holidays the Arsenal travelled down to Florida to play in the prestigious Orange Classic International Tournament to take advantage of the warm dry weather at the showcase in southern Florida. They took this opportunity to win their six-team bracket, going undefeated and surrendering only one goal against teams from Ohio, New Jersey, and Texas. Great soccer along with hundreds of college coaches to watch them play over the weekend resulted in a successful venture down south.
